Pupil Premium Funding
The use and impact of Pupil Premium Funding

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. The funding was introduced in April 2011 and has increased year on year. In 2016 the funding per eligible pupil was £1320 and £1900 for Looked After Children.

With this increase it has become increasingly important to monitor how the school is spending the pupil premium funding and how effective this is in improving the outcomes for these children.  It is the responsibility of all schools to report the use and impact of this funding.
