Christmas Mini Sale

We are half-way through November already and it is time to think about … Christmas! We have lots of fun activities planned for the children and we also want to raise some money to make their time in school even better. Through our Sponsored Walk we raised an amazing £2622 which will be used to re-develop our library area and purchase new books.

Friday, 6th December – Christmas Mini Sale

Our first event is our Christmas Mini Sale. So that we have suitable gifts for all members of the family please can each year group bring in different items:

  • Year 2 – gifts for Mums and older sisters
  • Year 1 – gifts for Dads and older brothers
  • Year R – gifts for younger children and babies

You may have unwanted gifts at home that you have in a cupboard but they should be new/unused. Suitable items would include pocket money toys, books, toiletries, sweets or chocolates, jewelry, make-up, socks, ornaments, mugs, key rings, car accessories, etc … you always have lots of amazing ideas.

The sale will be taking place during school time and the children will visit the sale with their teacher and teaching assistant. We put out a new selection of items for each class so that all the children have plenty of items to choose from. The children should bring some money in a small coin purse or envelope and a list of the people they would like to buy for – e.g. Mum, Dad, brother (age) sister (age). Staff and helpers will be there to help the children to choose suitable gifts according to the amount of money they have. Prices usually range from 50p per item to a maximum of £3. Please, can they also bring a bag to put the gifts in.

We do need parent helpers to run the sale, so if you are available to help on the day please let the office know.

The children love coming to the Christmas Mini Sale, choosing their own gifts for their families and paying themselves.

Thank you for your support
