Job Title: Catering Manager

Responsible to: Headteacher

Salary Grade Range: Scale 6 

£24,496 (full time equivalent)

Hours of work: 30 hours per week

Weeks worked:  Term time 38 weeks per year

We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to join our friendly school.

The catering manager will be responsible for:

• Cooking healthy, nutritious meals for children and staff
• Stock taking, ordering and menu planning.
• Managing the catering team

We are looking for a person who

• Is organised and calm under pressure
• Is friendly and personable with all members of the school community and has a good sense of humour.
• Is confident working under their own initiative
• Has catering management experience
• Has the best interests of the pupils at the heart of what they do.

Has Level 3 award in supervising food safety is essential for the role but support in obtaining this will be available from our school if not already held.
